MyoGenesis has developed a tri-phase performance solution that has excelled professional athletes and all athletes alike into performing at peak human levels. We understand the different nutritional needs of "pre", or preparing for an event, race, or training session. We understand the different nutritional needs of "during" an event, race, or training session. We also understand the different nutritional needs of "post" or recovery from an event, race, or training session. Our solution to the different nutritional needs of the athlete during different modes of training is our: Phase 1, 2, and 3 "Icon" products. Along with these phase products, we produce and carry only the essential macro and micro supplements that are proven to be needed and are proven to work. These products are secondary to our three icon "phase" products: phase 1- "Performance Mix", phase 2- "Podium", and phase 3 "Triple Threat". These phase products support the nutritional needs of an athlete all the way from before an event, during an event, and after an event. Phase 1, this is the time for your body to absorb much needed nutrients to perform at a latter time, usually between 30 minutes to 1 hour. What kinds of nutrients are needed during this phase?......... Pure jet fuel, 100% complex carbohydrates are needed for the "pre" phase of competition, about 50 grams to be exact. These long chain sugar molecules are too large to be absorbed instantly into the bloodstream. That is why they are called "Complex". These long chain sugar molecules head straight for the liver and muscle tissue to hang around as glycogen, just waiting on the call of the working athlete's body to change it into the working form, adenosine triphosphate. During this phase, insulin levels need to remain stable as does all other hormones. Phase 1's, "Performance Mix" allows this to happen by maintaining a 100% complex carbohydrate mixture. Phase 2, this is the "during" stage of an event. The body is going through many processes and, needs specialized nutritional attention. There are many factors to take into effect: heat, energy loss, muscular trauma, cold, terrain and wind resistance increasing muscular output, dehydration, electrolyte deficiency, fluctuating insulin levels, and glycogen depletion to name a few. During this phase the body will need all chains of sugars, small (absorbed very quickly),....... medium (absorbed mildly), .......and long (absorbed slowly). The combination of "Podium's" ....25-50 grams of these three chains of sugars.... will guarantee that the athlete can win the battle against "glycogen depletion", otherwise known as the "bonk". Along with these important sugars, its imperative to maintain stable insulin levels. To allow this to take place, 10 grams of "whey" (100% Isolate) protein has been added to the Phase 2 product, "Podium". These two factors are not the only ingredients to separate "Podium" from the "other" sports drinks. We understand at MyoGenesis that recovery is the ultimate key to any athlete's program. We believe it is vital to start the recovery process during phase 2, while the athlete's body is undergoing traumatic situations. Our key ingredient in "Podium" to allow this to take place is 1.5 grams of ....L-Glutamine.... Glutamine has empirically shown to help with a marked increase in recovery to traumatized muscle tissue. Phase 2's "Podium" is not complete yet. MyoGenesis also added a ....complete electrolyte profile.... to guard against electrolyte deficiency. With this tested and tried combination of ingredients and some we will not name here, it's no wonder why the name of the phase 2's product is "Podium", most of the athletes who use it end up on one. Phase 3 is the "post" or "recovery" stage of competition. Please understand that we are not describing the 3 phases of competitive nutritional needs as it pertains only to athletes in competition. We are using "competitive" nutrition only as an example. The 3 phases are true to any training and for anyone. Phase 3.... is thought by some exercise physiologists to be the most important phase. If this phase of nutrition is not followed, the athlete may not or will not recover from the depletion of nutrients induced by race or training conditions. Then he or she may not come back to achieve a better performance, or worse a "no" performance. The nutritional needs of phase 3 differ drastically from phase 1, but only slightly from stage 2. Being this is the case, allot of athletes prefer to use "Podium" for phase 2 and 3. MyoGenesis did not waste any time formulating what we think is the most superior recovery product in the industry. Its name is "Triple Threat". Why "Triple Threat"? This phase 3 product ties in all three phases of nutrition to allow the athlete optimum recovery to be a real threat to their competition. Don't think so? Just ask or look at MyoGenesis's professional team's rankings and accomplishments. For a superior phase 3 recovery product to excel, it must have a tried, tested, and true formulation. This formulation being a ....50-50 blend of simple, medium, and long chain carbohydrates (sugar) and an equal amount of pure, natural "Whey" protein.... Along with this blend, MyoGenesis has gone the distance and spared nothing by accelerating the body's recovery process by adding an additional ....2.5 grams of L-Glutamine,.... 5 grams of creatine monohydrate....to optimize cell volumization and pack the muscle tissue with extra phosphate groups for the switch of adenosine diphosphate back to the crucial adenosine triphosphate molecule. We will not cover all the ingredients of "Triple Threat" here in the introduction of our phase nutrition. You will have to read all about it under its own section. There you can learn and understand how and why we formulate this monster powder. I will tell you we have added specialized ingredients to optimize ....nitrogen retention..... as well. This is another key to optimal muscle recovery. In closing, MyoGenesis has launched its "Enduro" series of performance nutrition. The icon products are split into the three phases of competition. Phase 1 with "Performance Mix", is formulated to prepare the body with the correct carbohydrates and correct nutrition in a correct serving amount. This phase is "pre" or before an event to load the body with proper nutrients to get ready to perform. Phase 2 with "Podium", the most sought after sports mix on the market. This phase is "during" an event. "Podium" was formulated for such a time. It gives you the athlete all the micro and macronutrients needed in the perfect ratios to excel and race hard without having to worry when to fuel. Phase 3 with "Triple Threat" or "Podium" was formulated with the proper nutritional ratios to optimize phase 3, or recovery. Recovery is the key to functioning at your peak. "Triple Threat" will guarantee optimal and rapid recovery to go back for more. The three phases of competition and their nutritional needs are no secret. Any exercise physiologist, coach, trainer, or educated athlete will tell you the same thing. The only thing that MyoGenesis Nutrition has done is to create a specific supplementation product for each phase with it's own distinct ratios and formulations. Each product has been and is under-going field- testing and lab testing to create a safe, natural and clean alternative for optimized performance nutrition.
